Technical Information

  • Production Methods:
Kanegrade beverage compounds are created by blending concentrated fruit juices, natural flavours, sweeteners (such as sugar, fructose, or high-intensity sweeteners), acids (like citric or malic acid), colours, and, where required, preservatives and functional ingredients. Advanced mixing and homogenisation ensure uniformity and stability in the final compound.
  • Functional Properties:
Beverage compounds serve as a concentrated base, containing all or most of the ingredients needed for the final drink, except water. This allows for efficient production, consistent flavour delivery, and simplified raw material management for manufacturers. Compounds can also include functional components such as vitamins, minerals, caffeine, fibre, or plant extracts to enhance nutritional or sensory properties.
  • Customisation and Dosage:
Compounds can be formulated for different levels of sweetness, acidity, and flavour intensity. Dosage rates vary depending on concentration and the desired finished beverage profile; for example, highly concentrated compounds may be dosed at 1:5 or even 1:50 with water, depending on the formulation.
  • Formats and Solubility:
Available in liquid or semi-liquid forms, beverage compounds are fully water-soluble and designed for rapid dispersion in production environments. They can be supplied as ready-to-use blends or as split compounds for sensitive ingredients.
  • Shelf Life and Storage:
Beverage compounds are shelf-stable when stored in sealed containers at cool, or frozen temperatures. Proper storage preserves flavour, colour, and functional properties, ensuring reliable performance throughout their shelf life.

MOQs and Packaging:
Since beverage compounds required significant collaboration with our in-house beverage experts, MOQs are 2000Kg. Packaging is typically 200Kg net aseptic or non-aseptic drums.
