Technical Information
- Production Methods:
Kanegrade vegetable powders are typically produced by washing, peeling, slicing, and gently drying fresh vegetables typically using air-drying then milling to the desired particle size, ensuring a free-flowing, easy-to-use powder. - Functional Properties:
Vegetable powders contribute natural colour, flavour, and nutritional value to finished products. They can also provide thickening, bulking, or binding properties, depending on the vegetable source and application. - Nutritional Profile:
Our vegetable powders retain much of the fibre, vitamins (such as A, C, K, and B group), and minerals (including potassium, magnesium, and iron) found in fresh vegetables. Nutritional values vary by vegetable type and processing method.
- Formats and Solubility:
Powders are available in a range of mesh sizes, from fine to coarse, and can be selected for specific solubility or dispersibility requirements in wet or dry applications. - Shelf Life and Storage:
With low moisture content, vegetable powders are shelf-stable and suitable for ambient storage. For best results, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve colour and flavour.
MOQs and Packaging:
Typically 20/25Kg sacks, with an MOQ of 250Kg.
